Short Form #1 - Fun Variation - Xander Weaver Here is Xander doing his second exercise in the process toward becoming a Green Belt. Again he is challenge oriented so I had him add the trick'n to the Form. No student has to do the trick'n part to be a Green Belt, but Xander needs the challenge. So, now Xander is qualified for Forms in Tournaments to do: Block Set #1 with Trick'n Short Form #1 on the right side with Trick'n The training process includes: Intention, Attention to the Principles of Motion and finally Salesmanship.

Block Set #1 - Fun Variation This is Xander Weaver, Skip's 11 year old Blue Belt student. Starting the 1st of January, each year, Skip's students go through another process of renewal. Those who want to compete in tournaments are required to renew each Form and Set to the next belt level in order to qualify to use that Form or Set in a tournament.

Thundering Hammers Cycle Story In Part 3 we always start with our right hand at our right hip. Our opponent is still only punching with his right hand in a linear fashion. The emphasis in Part 3 is upon Depth Zones of Attack. After your initial follow up does your attacker remain at the same Depth or does he back up. For those of you who use names of Techniques, you will see the beginnings of; Obscure Mace, Attacking Mace and Flashing Wings.

Short Form #2 and The Cycle of Considerations Forms are pre-arranged routines. They store information about how to defend ourselves against multiple attackers. And we can use them to exercise many other Skills like: Basics, Principles of Motion and Principles of Self-Defense - all of which should better enable us to defend ourselves against multiple opponents. Nevertheless, all the components of a Form must follow the Logic of Self-Defense. Any Form must follow the Logic of the Cycle of Considerations.

Thundering Hammers Cycle Story - Part 2 In Part 2 we have our right hand always hanging at the side of our right leg. Our opponent always punches straight with his right hand. Then we look at the position of his body according to Height, Width and Depth Zones of Attack. We counter with our right arm, which always Thrusts and then grafts to Lift in this Part 2. For those of you who operate with names of Techniques, you see the beginnings of Dance of Death, Thundering Hammers and Sleeper.
