Shadow Boxing

Just watched a clip from Frank Trejo on Shadow Boxing.

He points out that historically it was developed because you
hung a lantern from the low ceiling and then you could use your shadow as your training partner to develop Balance, Timing of hands and feet etc.

He then points out that the mirror has replaced the lantern.

I am not a big fan of mirrors. I believe they can steal the soul of a Martial Artist. The student looks outside of himself instead of inside of himself.

See how you might be able to incorporate the idea of the lantern into shadow boxing in your school
